Here you will be able to find the resources to expand your horizons and educate yourself while finding camaraderie with your peers. Don’t wait to long to become involved with your associates, every one has knowledge and when we share, it helps all of us to develop.

I myself waited too long to get acquainted with this organization. I have been a technician for thirty-eight years and did not become a CDT until twenty-three years in the field. I felt I was doing my part but it was all for myself.  Since joining the CDLA, as director at large, I formed  study groups, organized classes, and found that everybody was doing as much as they could for themselves, but as a group we learned, that from each other, sharing  knowledge and developing friendships  is a big reward, as well as the self development  and knowledge we gain.

CDLA President Steve Simon, CDT Joins NADL’s Board of Directors

Fremont, California- CDLA announced the appointment of Steve Simon, CDT to the National Dental Laboratory Association (NADL) Board of Directors effective January 1, 2010. Mr. Simon was appointed the one year term of Laboratory Representative.

Steve Simon serves as the current President of CDLA and also serves as a Trustee on the WSC, Inc. - a federation of the eleven western states dental laboratory associations.

Mr. Simon draws on over 35 years of dental technology experience and has owned Professional Dental Laboratory in Sacramento for more than 25 years. Trained in the Air Force, Steve spent his first nine years exposed to the training of dental professionals in the United States, the Far East, and Europe. After leaving active duty in 1979, he moved to Sacramento, where he specializes in removable prosthetics. He also a member of  The American College of Prosthodontists as a Dental Technician Alliance, and the California Dental Association, as an Allied Dental Heath Professional.
